Rate Calorie Will my basic metabolic rate have gone down after eating 1500 calories a day for 3 weeks?
I'm 6ft and 172lb, I was about 180lb a few weeks ago so wanted to just lose that little bit of weight so ate 1500 calories for 3 weeks, I'm happy as i am at my weight now but would 3 weeks of eating only 1500 day have lowered my basic metabolic rate and I'll put the weight back on quickly or would it have taken longer at a lower calorie rate to have lowered my BMR.
Depends how you eat. If you eat one 1500 cal meal/day yes.
