Leather Skipping Moving out - How can I protect my couches from scratches, tears, etc.?
Does anyone have any ideas of what I can put over my couches when moving them out of apt. to new apt. in order to not mess them up?
I have biege heavy leather couches, it's the biggest/heaviest furniture that we have. I don't want to scratch/rip it while moving them. This is the only reason I would probably consider getting movers to help. If I can figure out a good moving strategy to get them out & in w/o any problems, I'll skip the movers & ask for a couple of family members to help.
Ideas?
bubble wrap is great.....I got mine from a furniture store....they throw it away from their floor samples, etc. Then I wrapped plastic drop clothes(you can buy at the dollar store....the kind you get to protect floor from paint). Be sure you use a lot of rope and duct tape if moving on open trailer or truck cause plastic will blow off easily. Good Luck!
